At £20 per square foot, this mini-house seems almost too good to be true, but Russian company Apis Cor has done it, 3D printing this house in only 1 day.
To print the house a massive crane like 3D printer is used. With a nearly 30 foot arm, and 10 foot high, is can turn 360 degrees. It is perfectly suited for constructing circular houses at very affordable prices.
The device "prints" layers of cement that are used to construct the outline and walls. Currently work such as insulating and painting is still done the old fashioned way, by people, but it is envisioned that the whole package will become automated in the future.
The houses may seem small at the moment, but at that price, would you be interested in a mini-home without a mortgage, and ready to decorate in one day?
